Elena Scarlata is an award winning designer
known for its original handprinted patterns,
bright colours and eco-fabric handprinted
by an old Sicilian handprints tecniques.

The new Mediterrenean 

Since she begin her carreer as a textile designer she won several award, such us: HOMI Makers (2017) - Pulse London 2018 - London Craft Week 2019 (Italian Table) 
and important collaboration with:
Museum shop - Ara Pacis Rome, MACRO Rome, Triennale Museum Milano, British Library London,
UAL - University of Art London to mention a few.



In the 2017 she moved to Sicily where she has established her atelier where she also lives.

There she discover her sensibilty for fabric thanks also to her grandmother
and mum, with experiences  on luxury fabrics and embroidery where she took her DNA and Inspirations.

After study at IED and at the London College of Art (UAL) she works for prestigious British and American multinationals company in the fashion, corporate and
experiential travel event sector for 10 year experience as a graphic designer.


Luxury means for her: handmade, fine eye
for details and small production. She believes
that producing less with high level of quality
is an important value.

The new luxury
for home decor

Research and innovation are the roots of the product. The inks used are water-based with low environmental impact.

The production and design is created in our studio in Sicily by local seamstresses. Production follows the logic of the economy circular: minimize waste and reuse waste.

We choose certified organic GOTS cottons, hemp, plastic-free fabrics and FSC paper label upcycling with 25% of lather waste.
