Our history
Elena Scarlata founded her own fabric design studio
and Brand Identity in Sicily in 2011.
Italian artist and designer with a British heart,
expresses his creativity through a unique fusion of storytelling,
geometry and inspiration in the history of the Mediterranean.
The search for color and symbols reflect his multiple artistic influences: from his native Sicily to his beloved London,
where he studied and continues to collaborate with renowned companies.

HANDMADE Ours is a process that gives life to authentic products, created by our seamstresses, with particular attention to detail, where mistakes become added value.
SUSTAINABILITY: We print with water-free colors and Oeko Tex certified pigments , with steam finishing on natural and GOATS certified fabrics, together with responsible and plastic-free production processes.
MEDITERRANEANITY: Our designs represent a journey into the history of the Mediterranean, with a contemporary mix of cultures, styles and traditions.
RESEARCH: We invest in high quality materials, carefully selecting each supplier to ensure long-lasting collaborations and timeless designs.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY: We follow the principle of "nothing is thrown away", using recycling and reuse practices. Some products bear the wording "Upcycling", reinvented from the remainder of our stocks.
Handmade in Sicily
A Story of Tradition and Passion
The history of our company has its origins in the deep traditions passed down through generations by my extraordinary grandmothers. This rich legacy is reflected in our Atelier today. Her paternal grandmother, Marchesa, a lover of elegance, collected furnishing fabrics and created colorful woolen covers. The maternal grandmother, Anna, a skilled seamstress, dedicated her talent to the embroidery of ancient trousseaus, with her daughter who today contributes to the production.
Combining these lessons with experiences and studies at prestigious design institutes, Elena founded the Atelier in 2011, a place where tradition and modernity blend, giving life to unique works that tell a timeless story of passion and elegance.
